Freddie

So I decided that I would start off with a post on one of my favorite dogs at my job, Freddie. I know I shouldn't pick favorites, but once you all learn more about her, I know she will be one of your favorites too!

Freddie is a 9 year old English Bulldog. Although she is nearing her senior years she doesn't act a day over 3 years old. She LOVES jolly balls and usually needs to have the balls taken away from her because she ends up knocking over dogs trying to dribble the ball around.

We were overbooked for Thanksgiving this year at the daycare, so I took her home with me. My Mom fell in love with her and Freddie kept her company while she was knitting, but we had to stick her in the kitchen at bedtime because she snored so loud I couldn't think!

Freddie has to get 3 different types of eye drops in her eyes 2 times a day or else her eyes will fill with goopyness. Gross I know, but she is a champ and lets me put the drops in because she knows after she gets her dinner, which she makes a mess of because the kibble falls out of her floppy mouth.

Whenever I see Freddie on the street with her Nanny she goes ca-razy and starts wiggling and immediately bows her head for me to rub her ears and head. Or when I pick her up at her house to come to daycare she bolts out the door and pulls me the whole way there! But after a day full of jollyball playing and chasing her friend, Gracie the Weimaraner, she goes to sleep and this is what she looks like.
